Chris Roe has composed the score to ‘Blue Jean’, directed by Georgia Oakley and starring Rosy McEwen, Kerrie Hayes and Lucy Halliday.
The film is the winner of the People’s Choice Award at the 79th Venice International Film Festival and is set for release early next year.
‘It’s 1988. Thatcher’s government are about to pass a law stigmatizing gays and lesbians, forcing Jean, a PE teacher, to live a double life. But when a new student arrives and threatens to expose her, Jean is pushed to extreme lengths to keep her job and her integrity.’
