The new documentary ‘Vjeran Tomic: The Spider-Man of Paris’ featuring a score by David Schweitzer is streaming now on Netflix. Directed by Jamie Roberts, the film details the story of burglar Vjeran Tomic, who pulled off the biggest art heist in French history – all in his own words.
‘In 2010, Vjeran Tomic broke into the Paris Museum of Modern Art and stole several paintings. The Parisian museum reported a theft of five paintings from its collection: Pastoral by Henri Matisse, Woman with a Fan by Modigliani, Pablo Picasso’s Dove with Green Peas, George Braques Olive Tree near Estaque and Still Life with Candlestick by Fernand Léger.’
