‘Pimpinero: Blood and Oil’ scored by Pedro Bromfman is now streaming on Prime Video.
Pimpinero: Blood and Oil is a gripping feature film written and directed by Andrés Baiz (Satanás, The Hidden Face, Roa, “Narcos”, “Narcos: México”, “Griselda”). This action-packed drama stars Alberto Guerra (“Griselda”, “Narcos: Mexico”), Alejandro Speitzer (“Oscuro deseo”, “La cabeza de Joaquín Murrieta”), Laura Osma (“Blocco 181”, Goles en contra, “Historia de un crimen”), and Juanes, who makes his cinematic debut in a leading role.
The film takes audiences on an intense, emotional journey as it follows three brothers — Moisés (Juanes), Ulises (Alberto Guerra), and Juan (Alejandro Speitzer)— as they descend into the intrigue, corruption, and moral chaos of the organized crime world. Alongside them is Diana (Laura Osma), a resilient and rebellious young woman on her own quest for truth. The pervasive smell of gasoline serves as a metaphor for the film’s volatile atmosphere, where ignited fires lead to irreversible consequences.
Pedro’s soundtrack to the film is available to stream/download on all digital music platforms.
