Daniel Pemberton has finished scoring Warner Bros’ upcoming heist drama Ocean’s 8, directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Pleasantville, Seabiscuit) and starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
The movie is a spin-off of Steven Soderbergh’s Oceans trilogy and revolves around eight women who plan and execute a heist in New York. Ross also co-wrote the screenplay with Olivia Milch (Dude). Soderbergh (Traffic, Erin Brockovich) is producing the project with Jon Kilik (Foxcatcher, 25th Hour, Babel).
