Trevor Gureckis is an award-winning composer and producer based in NYC, known for his genre-defying works that seamlessly blend classical and electronic elements. His innovative compositions span film, pop, and concert music, captivating audiences with their unique fusion of live instruments and cutting-edge production techniques.
In film and television, Trevor has established himself as a versatile composer across thriller, horror, and epic drama genres. His ongoing collaboration with M. Night Shyamalan includes scoring all four seasons of the Apple TV+ series Servant, and Shyamalan’s feature film Old. Trevor also composed the score for Apple TV+’s drama series The Crowded Room, and the Warner Bros. adaptation of The Goldfinch, directed by John Crowley, which earned critical acclaim.
In 2023, Trevor ventured into interactive media, composing for EA and Motive Studios’ highly anticipated remake of the survival horror classic Dead Space. His other notable works include three seasons of the BBC World Service podcast series The Bomb, Neil Burger’s sci-fi film Voyagers, Blumhouse’s psychological thriller Bloodline, and HBO’s documentary Vice: Raised in the System.
Beyond film scoring, Trevor has made significant contributions to the music industry. He produced the electro-pop band My Great Ghost, featured on the Philip Glass remix album “REWORK_”, and collaborated with singer/songwriter Niia as executive producer of her acclaimed album “II: La Bella Vita”. His evening-length ballet, “Potential Energies”, premiered at BAM Fisher by The Nouveau Classical Project, and his instrumental album “Corte” was released on SUPERTRAIN Records.
A Yale School of Music alumnus, Trevor’s achievements have been recognized with BMI Film, TV & Visual Media Awards and a nomination for Best Horror Film Score at the 2021 HMMA Awards. He currently serves as co-founder and executive creative director of Found Objects, a NYC-based artist collective and production company.
