
Stuart Earl is an award-winning, Ivor Novello nominated composer working in film, television and theatre. His music uses both orchestral and electronic instrumentation, to create scores that range from poignant and delicate to dark and atmospheric.
Stuart’s credits include the Netflix adaptation of Persuasion, starring Dakota Johnson, multi award-winning Black Mirror, BAFTA award-winning Rillington Place, Doctor Foster (Series 2), and And Then There Were None, for which Stuart’s score was nominated for an Ivor.
His work in the theatre includes productions on Broadway, London’s Westend and the National Theatre. These include, Grapes of Wrath (starring Cherry Jones and Harry Treadaway) Sea Wall/ A Life (starring Jake Gyllenhaal), Julie (starring Vanessa Kirby), The Deep Blue Sea (starring Helen McCrory) and A Doll’s House (starring Hattie Morahan).
