
Edmund is a multi award winning composer and producer whose emotionally charged, genre-defining scores have shaped some of the most iconic British television and film projects of the past two decades, and continues to push boundaries in the electronic and classical spheres.
He gained early success for his work on BBC’s BAFTA and EMMY award winning drama Life on Mars, and BAFTA and RTS winning documentary Yellowstone. His collaborations with Sir Tim Rice also earned him an Ivor Novello and two RTS nominations, paving the way for future success and collaborations.
More recently, Ed scored Thaddeus O’Sullivan’s feature film The Miracle Club starring Laura Linney, Maggie Smith and Kathy Bates, Netflix’s global docuseries Depp v Heard and Break Point, as well as the feature film Dalíland, directed by Mary Harron and starring Ben Kingsley and Ezra Miller, earning Ed a nomination for Best Original Score – Independent Film at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Other recent credits include BBC Two’s Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar, The Dark, ITV’s Finding Alice, and Jimmy McGovern’s Anthony.
Beyond the screen, Ed has served as Musical Director for global artists including Madonna and Sir George Martin. A Royal College of Music graduate and Countess of Munster Award recipient, Ed has performed with world-renowned orchestras such as the London Philharmonic, Philharmonia, BBC Symphony, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
