The new series of ‘Cheaters’ featuring music by Adem Ilhan premieres on BBC One and BBC iPlayer Tuesday 19th November.
‘After the adrenaline of their affair, Josh and Fola’s relationship has blossomed, and now they’re closer than ever. But with her divorce from Zack not even finalised, Fola is keen to take things slowly – not exactly Josh’s speed. Josh is a ball of anxiety, and he finds himself going to ridiculous lengths to ‘give her some space’…
Meanwhile, with Zack quietly determined to win Fola back, and Josh’s ex-girlfriend Esther returning from her travels with a new beau in tow, the stage is set for some big decisions…Can a relationship that started as an affair ever transcend its messy beginnings? Cheaters takes a long hard look at love, sex, monogamy and how the heart, brain and loins are rarely on the same page.’
The series is produced by Clerkenwell Films and stars Joshua McGuire, Susan Wokoma, Jack Fox and Callie Cooke. It is executive produced by Petra Fried (Baby Reindeer, The End of the F***ing World), Emily Harrison (Somewhere Boy, The End of the F***ing World) and Charlie Langdell (Truelove, Somewhere Boy) alongside Cheaters writer and creator Oliver Lyttleton (Cheaters series one, Wedding Season), and Danielle Scott-Haughton for the BBC. Alex Walsh-Taylor (Truelove, Lovesick) and Elliot Hegarty (Ted Lasso, Lovesick) return as series producer and director respectively.
