‘A Tale of Two Cities’ scored by Samuel Sim premieres on 6th September on MGM+ and comes to the UK on the BBC later this year!
A retelling of Charles Dicken’s literary classic, this adaptation comes in four episodes, mirroring the four-book format of Dickens’ 19th-century classic, and tells the story of two eerily similar-looking men, one a former French aristocrat and the other an alcoholic English lawyer, who fall in love with the same woman. Set against the backdrop of the French Revolution, Darnay attempts to escape his past, accusations of treason, and the noose, and Carton is drawn into misadventure.
Starring Kit Harington, François Civil and Mirren Mack.
