The C Word (drama scored by Maurizio Malagnini) nominated for two BAFTAs

The BBC’s wonderfully ballsy and candid TV film, The C Word, has been nominated for two BAFTAs – Best Single Drama and Best Leading Actress (Sheridan Smith).

Beautifully scored by Maurizio Malagnini with a contemporary minimalistic score mixing electronica and orchestra, and described this week as “the most moving true-life drama of the year” (Radio Times), these nominations are thoroughly deserved.
